First cultivated by John Gilfeather in the early 1900s, the Gilfeather Turnip was officially recognized as Vermont's State Vegetable in July 2016.
The Gilfeather Turnip Festival began whenever and has now grown to whatever.
This year, the 21st annual Gilfeather Turnip Festival will take place on Main Street Saturday, October 21st 10am-2pm. Rain, sleet, or shine!
