The Vermont Online Library (VOL) is a curated collection of online information resources covering a broad range of subjects – made available to Vermont citizens and students by the Vermont Department of Libraries. The information resources are produced by known and trusted publishers, with content of interest to both generalists and specialists. The Vermont Online Library is available to Vermont citizens and students at no cost. No registration or authentication required.

Search Family Records  - Vermont residents can research Vermont birth, marriage, and death records from 1909-2008 on Ancestry.com for free if they first sign up for a MyVermont.gov account. Get a free account here.

Also, FamilySearch is available here:  https://www.familysearch.org/en - search for records, create a family tree, and pull records from their extensive database. You can create a free account here.
