Mission Statement The Wardsboro Public Library provides access to books and other library resources in a variety of formats and technologies for the enjoyment and enlightenment of its patrons. The Library also provides cultural activities for the community, educates the community about the Library's resources, and upholds the public's freedom of access to information. Ten very sweet critters donated to the library from Mary Meyers Store, located in Townshend Vermont!
The facility is accessible for disabled persons. Parking and entrance is at the rear of the building; turn at the sign for MacMichael's Park.
MAGAZINE EXCHANGE Bring some, take some. Reasonably current and clean issues, please.
ART & CRAFT EXHIBITIONS Various local artists display a diverse range of paintings, photographs and crafters displaying a wide range of media. Many items are for sale. To inqure about becoming an exhibitor at the library, click here.
The computer room has 4 stations on a DSL connection, and one printer.
The t-shirts & totes on sale help support the Friends of the Wardsboro Library.
ART IN THE LIBRARY
The Friends of the Wardsboro Library received a grant from Stratton Foundation. The grant funds have been used to purchase an art gallery system in the library which will facilitate art programs, including demonstrations and lectures.
