Mission Statement     The Wardsboro Public Library provides access to books and other library resources in a variety of formats and technologies for the enjoyment and enlightenment of its patrons. The Library also provides cultural activities for the community, educates the community about the Library's resources, and upholds the public's freedom of access to information.

Several DK Eyewitness books for youth, provided by the Stratton Foundation grant!

    The facility is accessible for disabled persons. Parking and entrance is at the rear of the building; turn at the sign for MacMichael's Park. 

BOOK SALE        A perpetual sale of very inexpensively priced and gently used paperbacks, hard covers and videos.

MAGAZINE EXCHANGE      Bring some, take some.  Reasonably current and clean issues, please.

ART & CRAFT EXHIBITIONS           Various local artists display a diverse range of paintings, photographs and crafters displaying a wide range of media.  Many items are for sale.  To inqure about becoming an exhibitor at the library, click here.

The computer room has 4 stations on a DSL connection, and one printer.

ART IN THE LIBRARY

  Lew Holzman is a published poet.  His poetry evolved into fotopoems, a mixture of fotos and poems based on the images.  Lew's photos have been exhibited in Belgium and Switzerland.  Additional fotos have appeared in the online magazine NowPublic and other publications.  Most recently, his fotos have been exhibited at the Southern Vermont Art Center in both tieir Mmebers collection and the juried Collector's Gallery.  Soon to be exhibited in Rome, Italy during the Annual Photography Festival.

CONGRATULATIONS to the Friends of the Wardsboro Library!  The all-volunteer support organization has been awarded a Stratton Foundation--Mccarty Grant to sponsor monthly art programs at the library.
