“Take Out” Books

Anytime 24/7 - Browse the Library’s collection and make your book wish list from the

catalog. Search now!

Books will not be packaged and left outside for patrons to pickup.

Doors open

Mondays  10 am to 2 pm

Thursdays  4 pm to 7 pm

An all-volunteer team is making it possible to get books out to the community before the full re-opening plans are enacted by the Trustees.

Walk through pick up for “Take Out” books  – how it works:

Come to the open door at the Library’s main entrance. It is best to come alone or with as few people/children as possible.

Everyone, please!! Wear a mask. Not optional! No one without a mask may come inside.

Wait your turn outside. Wait in line 6′ apart.

To obtain books:

Enter one person at a time. Stand in front of the plexiglass in the designated area at the front desk.

Tell the volunteers what books you want to check out or just tell them what topics you like to read. They will quickly collect everything you want for you, and check out the books on the computer at the front desk.

As soon as you receive your books, leave quickly by the open side door.

Next person in line enters after the front desk counters and volunteers’ hands are all sanitized, and when the volunteer says “Next!” Please wait!

There will be no public access to bathroom,

children’s room, or barn.

Returning books:

Place return books in the bin provided by the entrance door during “Take Out” hours.

Or:  Place return books in the big book return mailbox on the porch at any time.

BEFORE DONATING used books and media and other materials, please email wardsboropubliclibrary@gmail.com. The Library is not accepting magazines and periodicals at this time.

Thank you.
